Well. You have me convinced. As bad as this sounds I don't want to give it away if I don't want to sell it in the first place. I have made quite a few friends buying and selling guns on the boards here. Think i'll gb it this time.

Sell guns? I mean, the words, individually, make sense. But put together like that? Not so much. I didn't know you could sell guns...

Someone seems to have an issue with reading the details before jumping in...my one and only time using it was not good.
I bid on a KAK Shockwave brace / tube combo for my AR pistol build. it was fairly cheap [i thought]
i instantly received an email stating that i had won. yaaay me!!
but in the fine print it also states that I must pay via check [who mails checks to random people in 2015?] or pay a credit card convenience fee.
which raised the price considerably.
backed out of the deal and just used Amazon.
came out ahead.
edit: totally didn't see the part about using it to sell.
d'oh!

hey is your Savage LRH111 still available?yep, sold my 338 on there. had it on CG for a discount, and noone wanted it within reasonable time frame. Thread aged out, I put it on gunbroker and it was gone in an instant for the fair price I asked for.
Fast forward 18 months after gun prices do what they do over time, I've had several folks on GC PM me asking me if my 2 year old listing is still good. Darn good price, that listing, in todays dollars. I think I finally killed the thread.
I'd love to sell on CG for a discount. But it's like selling to my friends for an even bigger discount. Not likely to be a large enough audience to get a buyer.

Yeah, it's a nightmare with this issue. Those who do routinely ship to CA and know the CFLC usually do not know anything about FFL03, and are almost impossible to convince to directly ship even though it is fully legal in my understanding as FFL03 is exempt. I have looked into getting FFL03 and I would probably rarely use it, I ask all the time but the answer is usually no.I have only bought C&R rifles off GB. I have a C&R and COE so they can be shipped directly to me. The problem is convincing the seller this is legal. An FFL03 cannot be a part of the CFLC system (and is exempt). The seller or seller's FFL cannot obtain a CFLC number so they don't want to ship to you.
That's if you can even find dealers that will even deal with CA. Every rifle I have off of GB has been an Odyssey to obtain. I have had numerous rifles shipped without AI, even when they said they had sent it.
Never had to have one sent back yet, so knock on wood.Originally posted by doggieSomeone must put an end to this endless bickering by posting the unadulterated indisputable facts and truth."The California matrix of gun control laws is among the harshest in the nation and are filled with criminal law traps for people of common intelligence who desire to obey the law." - U.S. District Judge Roger T. I've had good luck with the last few GB auctions convincing "No sales to CA" sellers to ship to CA. If they're not part of the CFLC, UGImports has a nice summary of how to sign up for OoS FFL's:
And if they still won't ship? No problem, we've got our very own audiophil2 here on CalGuns to act as a low-cost middleman FFL.
MIDDLEMAN TRANSFERS FROM AZ TO CA. ALSO BLOCK MAGS.

If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.
Come on...what harm??
