Buying from an 01 question...

Sorry if this has been asked but I couldn't find any info but got even more confused.

I have an 03 & COE. This is my first c&r purchase with registration needed. Last purchase was in 2013.

I handed them a copy of my 03/COE - They typed in the information and then handed me a copy of the dros with the rifle and said see you later.

Now I need to print out a form and send in $19 to the doj still right? Or since its dros'd I just put it in my book and call it done?

No, if you purchased from a CA Dealer the DROS is the registration. All you need to do is enter the info in your bound book.
