I have a stick with a very powerful magnet on the end. If something flies away from me. I just sweep the whole garage until I find it. But the tent idea is pretty smart as well.

      Update:

So my M1 carbine bolt tool finally showed up a few days ago. Was able to re-assemble the bolt in about 5 min, put the rifle back together and it now function checks just fine!

Thanks for the advice fellas! Definitely a worthwhile $40 investment for any M1 Carbine owner!

And as such, it is my responsibility to preserve them."

The tent only sounds silly to people who never do anything harder than field stripping a Glock.

A large, clear plastic bag works as well as the tent trick.

Don't you run out of air quickly?
