So what did everyone get for Christmas? Even if you bought it for yourself, post it up for all to enjoy.

My wife got me a couple of cool C&R books (she researched them on her own) - one bolt action military rifles of the world (lots of nice full color photos of each type) and a military firearms reference guide. She also got me a Caldwell shooting rest, a set of brass jags, and a Brownells enhanced 1911 bushing wrench. I was very happy to say the least!

I bought myself a kodiak Mauser chambered in 30-06. Also got a ton of gift cards to turners and bass pro shop from various ppl.

The before mentioned unused #4mk2 .303 rifle, 500 .223 bullets, 500 .45 bullets and the annual renewal to my shooting range from the Missus; 500 .45 bullets and 100 .44 special cases from a son; 50 .410 shells and 100 .44 special cases from a daughter. My other son and daughter chose to get me stuff non shooting related which was ok too.

I did buy myself an IBM M1 Carbine which I am patiently awaiting to go rescue from jail on the 4th!

MIL got me a $30 gift card to my local indoor range which was very thoughtful of her.

My sister bought me a book called "Guerilla gunsmithing" written by a guy who has had to fix junky guns in remote locations with little to no tools. Looks very interesting.

A great Christmas this year.

I remember the MM from my Army days. They flip over easy if you make a sharp turn so be careful! Lots of fun. Is yours the magnesium or aluminum deck model?
