I scored a Hakim!!

I am so stoked. I have been searching for a nice Hakim in a decent price range for about a year and I finally have one on the way. I got it off Gunbroker from a guy who has owned it since imported, about 20 years. It looks good in the photos and he said the barrel is very good-excellent. Now I need a FN-49 and a Garand.

There have been a couple in that price range but they usually looked beat. This was the nicest one I've found in my price range. The nicer ones seem to run $550+

I missed out on one a couple of weeks ago. I bought my first 1911 the day before a gun show, then found a Hakim at the gun show. Hope you enjoy it.

Congrats on finding one. I've been looking around for a full power semi-auto rifle. I've got my Garand, but the Hakims and the SVT's are on a different level to me.
