Am I Confused?

I am selling my 1914 dated 1911 to a Calguns member in San Diego. Right now, his local FFL is giving me difficulties and will not receiver the pistol do the transfer because it is not on the approved list. I thought Curio and Relic hand guns were exempt from the CA roster?

As a PPT it would be exempt even if it was a modern off roster handgun. I would find another FFL.



ETA: Just realized you're in the SF area, so it's not a PPT. Regardless, it's still exempt because of the C&R status. I would still look for another FFL if this one continues to resist.

As written it is not a "PPT" as others have suggested. Unless you drive to SD for transfer, or he drives to Bay Area twice.

It is C&R and as such 'EXEMPT" from roster.

He needs a real FFL. Not a FUD turd.
