    CLEO?

I am filling out the form for a C & R license, and I am wondering who to send the CLEO copy to... I live in Fresno County, so would it be the sheriff Magaret Mims?
Or would it be a local police chief, as I live in an unincorporated area.
My first guess would be Fresno County Sheriff... any ideas?

My understanding is that if you're in the county, it would be the Sheriff. If you live within city limits (incorporated area) it would be the Chief of Police. A phone call to the Sheriff's office should clarify.

Sounds like it would be the Sheriffs if you live in an unincorporated area. An easy way to tell, if you call 9-1-1, who shows up to your doorstep? Sheriff or Police.

Not that you should call 911 just to check this detail.
