    New Swedish 1942 Husqvarna M/38

Visited the SAR show yesterday in Phoenix and bought a Glock 43 from a small dealer ($480.00 OTD)... The transfer took over an hour, as the NICS line was super busy... He also had a extremely nice Husqvarna M/38 in his rack, which I was fondling while waiting for the NICS check... The dealer kept apologizing for the delay, and as the show was about to close was SO concerned that the NICS was delayed that he offered my the Husky at a well discounted price ($300) So it came home with me along with the Glock...

Nice 1942 dated rifle in excellent all matching condition. It still had it's original sale tag attached from when it was bought from Bricklee Trading in South El Monte, Ca. back in 1994...

Most 1942 dated M/38's that I have either owned or seen have been well used. This rifle is real nice. It does show a very lightly struck Husqvarna "crest" which is also routine for 1942 dated rifles...

So this rifle fills a void in my Sweed collection. I already have a 1941, 9143 and two 1944 dated M/38's

Nice Swedish Mauser, SVT. Any matching numbers? electro-penciled?

I've got two Husqvarna M38's...one of them has stamped matching numbers and the other has electro penciled matching numbers

Very nice, that is about as good a finish I have seen on a Swede. My '41 Husky is in pretty good shape overall, except the finish is pretty much all gone. Looks like it is in the white. Kind of odd really, the lack of finish is really uniform, almost like they forgot to blue it.

On edit: That rifle is my first milsurp, picked it up from Irvington Arms in Fremont (back when the cranky old guy ran it) for $125.
