    LODI FUN

    Hi Guys,

    The Lodi show was pretty good. Quite a few and varied C&Rs, prices up and down. The private folks were ready to haggle, but not on the 2 things I was liking, a parts made Johnson, and an SVT. I haven't seen a Johnson of any type person in decades. I scored on some Privi .303, & .357 ammo, and a NIB Interarms Rossi .357. Made some new contacts. Good enough to go both days. PAX

      I was only interested in military C&R bolt action rifles and only saw a Vz24 and a few Arisakas. This show was kinda disappointing, at least the one at the fairgrounds usually has a few more C&R vendors.

          I saw the Johnson, desirable first series serial number, but it had been re-parked too. That guy had some rough looking stuff on the back side of that rack. VZ was ok, I only saw one Arisaka and it had been sporterized. The show was smaller than I expected, prices were all over the place. Almost popped for a Browning .22 semi....decided to save my funds for the next Reno show.

              VZ-24's and Arisakas are fairly abundant and affordable C&R's. I wouldn't spend too much time looking for either.
