Very nice rifles. Amazing the variation on the wood on Enfields, this is my 1943 No 4 MKI Where are you buying ammo for both of these?

Makes me miss my Enfields! Probably one of my favorite actions. Now that in finally set up for reloading, I should look at getting another.

If you reload, 7.7mm for the arisaka is easy to make out of .30-06 cases.

Congrats on your acquisitions. I see your No4 has the rear flip sight, use the smaller aperature for more accurate shooting. Who is the manufacturer for the Enfield?

Once you buy some ammo for each, I predict you will attend a reloading clinic and will get into reloading. New brass ammo for that Arisaka can run $2.00 per round. You can roll your own for about .30 to .40 per round, cheaper if you shop and build up good supplies. If you are into C&Rs, you really should get into reloading. Many of the rarer calibers are scarce, hard to find and expensive.

yeah, looks like I'm getting deeper and deeper into C&R rifles, there is just so much more to them than modern firearms...so reloading is def in the future.

Since nobody asked, I will have to. Does the Type 99 have an intact or ground Mum?

grounded mum, I actually found this while I was doing my PPT for the Lee Enfield. It was a impulse purchase
