Someone on the WTB subforum wants one but does not want to pay a lot. That is kind of like saying I want beluga caviar but I don't want to pay a lot. As East German Makarovs are C&R I'd think more Californians would take advantage of that. I really don't think finding one below $400 is very easy these days

I'm in gun shops and gun stores constantly all over SoCal and sometimes in NV and AZ and the Midwest/south and I can't remember the last one I've seen in a gun shop.

In that condition, those were a good deal. Not a bargain but you don't see a lot of basically "SVT-40 Condition" (Yes, I think this needs to become a new adjective for this community) EG Maks at any price. Heck, if I would have seen that ad in time, I think I would have happily bought one. Someone made a nice score.
