    Question about Reno Gun Show

    Hey all,

I was wondering.....has anybody seen new-in-wrapper M1 Carbine USGI mags at the Reno gun shows? I would like to buy a whole bunch of them, permanently block 'em and then bring them home.

I am sick and tired of all of my mags failing. I only have one old USGI one that still works. All of the other ones double feed big time...even the 4 new 10 rounders I just bought do it.
I know the feed lips are all out of spec but I have failed to find any spec drawings on M1 Carbine mags so that I can bend them back into shape.

    Anybody?

I didn't see any this time, but I wasn't really looking. I did see a dealer with a big bunch of used USGI mags for $11 each.
Always looking for vintage Winchester and Marlin lever action rifles. Looking to sell? Know of one for sale? Drop me a line!

Check out the "Big Reno Show". Yes, that is what they call it. Google it and you will see that they have one about 3 times a year. I heard that it is the largest one in Reno, larger than Cow Palace. Next one is Nov 20-23, 2015

Also there are a few stores in and around Reno that sell surplus and milsurp.
