That's a great set of gear, Luong!! I can see why you are into that era, really cool stuff.

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

Heavy Five was on USS Enterprise CVN-65 during 1971-1973 cruises. We lost one (and crew) during nightime strike mission and one struck the round-down another time (left a nice dent but no one hurt). We used to get popcorn from their ready room. Bat Corn, we called it. Classic, beautiful jets.

Gary - My Viet connection is "Pho"! LOL -

MasterChief - Wonderful that you cruised with Heavy Five!

They didn't built too many of these -

I'd like to find some flares for the gun one day -

The MC-1 knife has a weak spring - I'll have to find a replacement -

There was a RA-5C on a pillar outside the chow hall at NAS Memphis.

Cool stuff. I had one of those helmets (dropped it just wrong and broke the shield), I still have that flair pen. I had a strobe but it walked off 4 decades ago. PAX

                            nice collection of history

funny though, we still had mk31 flare pens in '06-'07 on my last deployment in NCW..

someone in our det fired one inside the pilothouse of one of our boats
I started out with nothing - and I still have most of it
