    Scout Scope of Yugo 24/47

I have a Yugo 24/47 that I don't shoot much because my older-eyes have trouble with that small rear site:

I was thinking about putting a scout scope on it, any recommendations?

Dennis, I've got two scout mount set ups that are like new, that I don't use, if you're interested. One is the Brass Stacker prototype I tested for them, and I think the other is a S&K, I'll have to look.

Buy a second rear sight and open up V notch to deeper U notch with small rat tail file, replace front sight with Brownells tall blade front sight.

Not a bad idea - may try that 1st

          Thanks

I like my 24/47's a great deal, but the factory sights are lacking. I used to have Mojo peep sights on one and they worked well.

That was my plan, but I went with the firesight for the front instead.

After measuring it I believe the firesight is the same height as the stock sight. Looks like I'll need to file down the rear sight a bit to compensate.
