    PPT C&R Longun ?

I haven't sold any long guns or C&Rs since the new laws went into effect.

I believe they now must be done via a FFL even if both parties are 03FFL holders?

Once at the FFL, does the person need to have one of those new fancy Firearms Safety Certificates in order to receive a C&R long gun? Does the seller?

Anything other gotchas I should know about?

Any recommendations for a shop between Escondido ad Temecula?

    Thanks!

Both parties do not need to be ffl03, only the buyer. If the buyer possesses a FFL03 and COE, it's cash and carry for long guns. Penal code 27966.

The FFL03 satisfies the FSC requirement for C&R long guns and pistols.

Only handguns must go through an FFL01.
    C&R nut.

I thought I read all in state transactions must go through a 01 FFL now? In this case I have an 03FFL and COE but the buyer does not.

In your case, an 01 is needed to transfer to your buyer.

Yep, since they buyer does not meet the requirements it must go through an 01. FFL/COE only really applies to a buyer. As an FFL/COE I can buy from other FFL's and non licensed individuals.
          C&R nut.

FFL03 and COE is one of the FSC exemptions for C&R firearms.

Hunting licence for long guns and CCW for all firearms and there are a few others.

81turbota is correct. Stick with that info rather than what you thought you read somewhere.
