    SKS Stripper Clip Question

I bought some stripper clips off of flea-bay and only fit into slot like there's suppose to: (thank goodness - I got some from a fellow calgunner; they fit!)

(example-not my SKS, I didn't know what to call it figured an example would be better)

I didn't pay a lot for them, so if I have to chuck them - no biggie

    Suggestions/Fixes?
"The only thing necessary for the triumph [of evil] is for good men to do nothing." Edmund Burke speech of 23 April 1770, "Thoughts on the Cause of the Present Discontents," delivered to the House of Commons.

I don't have an sks but I've heard to stay away from commercial stripper clips and stick to the military surplus ones. I'm saving the eight that came from some yugo surplus I had for when I get an sks.

If you paid about $2.00 for 50 of them, you need to bend the lips up some so they feed more reliable. I bought a 500 for $1.00 made in China star new ones and was frustrated with them until I bent about 10 of them so the rounds were loose enough to be fed.

When you buy 1,000 for .50 cents you pay the price in reliability.

= ) not that I would know anything about buying off of Ebay and paying .25 cents for 5,000 of them...

I load a single steel case in and pry the lips up some so it is loose enough to feed.
