    Interesting CMP bayonet find

My CMP goodies arrived today. While cleaning up my cut down Union Fork and Hoe bayonet, i noticed something interesting. The blade is marked UFH, the top of the handle is marked AFH (American Fork and Hoe), and the bar inside the handle is marked UC (Utica Cutlery). A tri-fecta!! Just thought i'd share.

Ps. Have pics but will only let me load one per post. Dint wanna take three posts jus for pics.

Pps. For inquiring minds, order was placed on June 8h, arrived today.

I've been thinking about buying a couple bayonets from them. Is it worth it vs other wholesalers? CMP seems to be typically a little higher than other websites.

I've bought all my bayonets (6) from CMP. Their prices are actually pretty hard to beat when you factor in their reasonable shipping rates. As well as the quality, i consider it top quality USGI surplus. As long as you don't mind the occasional Greek parc! Just keep in mind, you have to be CMP qualified to purchase from them.

I don't want to hijack your thread but I'm curious if either of you know which ones are most appropriate for what I have.

              1943 Springfield M1
              1918 Springfield 1903
              1923 Winchester 1917
              1943 Underwood M1 Carbine

Seems like there are more bayonet choices than rifle choices

Who are some other retailers of USGI bayonets that fit the garand and carbine? I always see AK bayonets everywhere but never Bayonets for my US guns. I keep telling myself I'll fill out my cmp paperwork but then I know I would probably buy 10 Garands if I did that.
