    Winchester M1

I got an email about Winchester M1's being available in December from CMP. Anyone here getting one? I noticed the price is higher than the Springfield M1's I bought a few years ago. Are these the going prices or are they marked up for the Winchesters?

Yep, CMP is killing me. 1st they sell the 1903's before they said they were and now the Winnie's. Early 2009, not a problem but right now I have to pass and I'm not too happy about it!

I feel the same way. Somehow, there's this underlying urge to get a Winchester to sit next to the Springfield, but looking at the bank account suggests I shouldn't. There's this internal conflict that's more fundamental than anything Freud can come up with. Dec 1 is only 8 days away.

about the only thing that will be WRA on the Winnies will be just the receiver.... you might get luck if the bolt is a WRA or some internals WRA marked.. but don't count on it.....
