That one has a weird shape to the scope itself. It's supposed to not flare out at the end. It's no PU I know that for sure. It's close.

I have one of those, may even have purchased it from the same guy a year or so ago. It's fine for what it is. The PU mount is reasonably easy to install, especially if you have a drill press (or a very steady hand) and a dremel tool to inlet the stock.

The scope itself is good enough for me -- the 91/30 I installed it on is not particularly accurate with the Milsurp ammo I am using. It doesn't really look like an original scope, although it mounts the same way and has about the same eye relief. I have started reloading 7.62 x 54r, hopefully I can get the groups to tighten up. I will probably at some point upgrade to one of the repro scopes that actually look like the original scopes, but for just plinking, this scope works fine.

Jerry: if you want a true PU scope try Kalinka Optics link, they have scopes made in the same Russian factory today.
