I love my k98, but I have been struggling to come up with a way to attach a GI sling for some Loop Sling fun. Has anybody tried to modify an adapter to allow something to fit with the side mounted swivel attachment? Watcha got?

Before someone suggests it, a Yugo stock wouldn't fit because of the slightly different spacing between the action screws.Last edited by Milsurp Collector; 06-25-2015, 10:02 AM.Revolvers are not pistols
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel

I have a 1907 pattern leather sling that is 1" wide that would work, but not really any way to attach it at the rear. You could do a loop sling pretty easy with a simple 1" nylon strap.Comment

You can find replica K98 slings made in Yugoslavia and Israeli that look better than a USGI

The wider rear band (6 o'clock sling swivel) from a transitional gewehr will work with your K98. It's wide enough to accommodate a USGI web sling.Comment

I want to leave it as is. Has anybody tried the blue force gear cable adapters?
