    Mexican Model 1910 bayonet?

I purchased a 1910 Mexican Mauser a couple of months ago. I want to get a bayonet for my rifle. I know they are rare and when they do come up they cost as much as the rifles do.

My question is: Is there a bayonet which is an economical substitute from another country that would fit the model 1910?

    Thanks.

Would the bayonets for the spanish 1893 and 1916 mausers fit? I will see if I can test it out later when I have some time.

Yep, just checked, the Spanish Mauser bayonets do fit. You can find them on Ebay for around 35 dollars and up. I have the 10 inch version and am looking for the longer carbine version.

Spanish Model 1893 Mauser bayonets were used by Mexico on their various Mauser rifles.

If anyone is looking for a Spanish Model 1893 bayonet, I have 2 for sale, an original early German made one and a Spanish one, listed here:

        SPANISH MAUSER

Accesorios para Mauser Espanol? Si, Senor! (Spanish Mauser accessories)

        22. Genuine German made bayonet for Spanish Model 1893 Mauser rifle. Marked "Simson & Co Suhl", with Spanish cross and serial number N2191 on the crossguard. Overall very good condition, no scabbard - these use a black leather scabbard with brass throat and brass cap on the tip. This was originally a long bayonet with a 16 inch blade that was later shortened by the Spanish to 10 inches around the WW1 period. This is the correct bayonet for the German made Spanish Mausers such as the ones used in the Spanish American War, and will fit any of the Mausers with the high muzzle ring such as South American, Turkish, Spanish, Belgian, etc. Most Spanish M93 bayonets one encounters are the ones made in Toledo, Spain and German made ones are pretty scarce.
        $75 + shipping.

        23. Spanish made Model 1893 long bayonet with leather body scabbard. Overall good condition, leather shows some wear but is solid and clean, should display well with a little cleaning up and maybe some black leather dye. These were also used on Mexican Mausers.
