I have shot out at 300 yards twice and

it holds a minute of milk jug at 300 yards no problem. I can ding steel with it at 325 but I hear the slap as it hits steel. Plates are 12"X16" hung on chain. I know I'm hitting just not sure where on the plate most of the time. If the sun is behind me I can see the bullet track into the plates. Lovely sound it makes too. I will be going after SF dear soon too.

          SCHWEET!!

One of my fondest (and earliest) shooting memories is of my dad blowing apart a wooden pallet at about 100 yards with his Enfield, which is now in my care. I was about 5, it was in Arizona, and my dad and uncles were no doubt enbibing the evil nectar.

              From MoM?

              Shouldn't that be Mum?

Or is that "Ministry of M..." something?

Mom gave me her Jungle Carbine in the mid 80's before she passed away. She bought it at the PX at Camp Pendelton in the late 50's. We would caml there by the beach and use the ranges on weekends. The Marines loved her and she would shoot with them useing the M1 Garand. She worked at Springfield before joining the Navy in 1943, she tested racks of M1's for accuracy. The JC went missing in 89' and the kids that stole it are in prison still today for a lot of other reasons. I call that Karma.
