I figured this would be the correct place to ask. I found this yesterday out in the forest behind my house while running the dogs. Is it a movie blank? Hundreds of Westerns were filmed here in Big Bear. The head stamp reads REM-UMC 5-IN-1. Also the patina is much darker in real life than in the photo. I could google this but I'm sure I'll get a better response here, and I wanted to share. Thanks!

I picked up one near Wm S Hart's place in Newhall. Must've been filming there pre WW2 as the case was UMC marked.Comment
