I don't see them on the list. Google California handgun list.

C and R doesn't work for pistols in California, all must go through an 01.

Last time I checked, the list had the CZ-83, but not the 82.

CZ-82 is legal in Cali. I have one. I bought it from J&G but to avoid the FFL transfer, I drove there and bought in Prescott. Also picked up a cz-52 and two rifles. All you have to do is send the 19 dollar DOJ form saying you bought a pistol and brought it in the state when you get back.

These come with 12 round mags so make sure they give you the 10 round cali mags they have.

The CZ82 is C&R. It is on the Federal C&R list...

Czech, VZ82/CZ82 pistols (in original configuration), all calibers, all serial numbers
C&R handguns are exempt from California's safe handgun roster. That's why J&G says they are "California legal".

So you can order one through your local California Dealer. J&G will ship it to your local Dealer for you to complete the DROS.

If you have a C&R FFL then you can go to Arizona and pick one up directly from J&G, just like giarcpnw mentioned above.

With a C&R is there a limit to how many you may purchase if you travel to AZ to pick them up?

Buy all you wan't, just remember that CA will charge you $19.00 per handgun when you return and send the info to DOJ. http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/forms/pdf/curioapp.pdf

If you are thinking of doing this, call ahead because they run out of the "California Special" packages. I had this happen and just bought the regular package, which is cheaper. As long as you are one of the privileged few that are exempt from the 10+ capacity rule or don't bring the evil 12 round mag back into CA you are OK.
Next time I go, I'm going to call ahead and see if I can reserve a C&R Yugo SKS and have them remove the grenade launcher (a $35 fee) prior to picking it up.

I tried that last year, and they wouldn't do it for me. Although, I didn't call ahead I just walked in.

I'm going out to AZ for the Small Arms Review Show next month, and I'm thinking of going up and paying J&G a visit. A fellow shooter let me put a few rounds downrange with his CZ, and I loved it.

Too bad the P64s aren't C&R yet. They have em for 159 bucks.

But, the Nagant M1895 revolver are C&R.
                        $79.95 for 1 or $74.95 for 2+.

Nagant revolvers. Are those decent shooters? Are they double action, they look single?

Since this is a Czech military firearm the correct designation is vz, not cz.
