    My CMP M1 Garand

I got this rifle after a quick turnaround from CMP. Paperwork submittal till it was in the hands of my FFL was just under 3 weeks total. She came with a brand new stock, so I decided to dress her down a little. Top pic is before, the bottom is after. I really like the results.

      Did you re-stain the stock?

Wow, that was quick. I submitted my paperwork around 3/12 and have yet to hear anything. Looks like you did good work on the stock.

I refinished it myself using Fiebings dark brown leather dye. It was my first attempt at refinishing a stock.
