    CZ 50

    Hey guys,

I just bought a CZ50 off gun broker and the only thing wrong with it is that it has a small crack on the left grip panel extending what looks like less than a half inch downward from the grip screw.

In looking for original replacement grips, there are a set of "originals" being sold on gun broker that are brown but numrich has black ones for sale (the gun currently has black grips). Is it just preference or was there a certain year or factory that issued them with brown vs black?

Which one would be more correct for this gun?

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks!

I have a couple of cz50's, the grips are all deferent.
One is ribbed all the way around the back strap, with a straight down back.
One is ribbed all the way around the back strap, with a indent for the upper hand.
One is ribbed only on the sides, but nothing on the back strap.
    All are black grips.
Buy a set and get the same r/l. That's all I know.
Or keep a look out on eBay or some other sales page.

Numrich was selling grips for something around $25, plus they have original magazines for sale too, the mags will cost 1/3 or 1/4 the cost of the gun.
    Good luck

      Side note...
If the gun works don't buy to many extra parts, like springs, side plates ,screws, pins. The only thing I have ever seen bad , was a sear.
If the gun has problems feeding ammo, after 50 or so rounds, it's the magazine spring, or the main spring.
Or hell it could be the ammo, I like ppu or geco ammo.
Shoot it first before buying all kinds of extra junk.
