Need help with a project (need more help see post #5)

Today I finally got started on my 1903a3 project:
    [IMG][/IMG]

I just started on it and these two screws just won"t budge:
    [IMG][/IMG]
I've got liquid wrench on them and hopefully they loosen up.
In the mean time any have suggestions?
    (to loosen them up)

15 min of liquid wrench and tap the screw driver/screw-head a couple times with hammer. Should be GTG.

A battery powered screwdriver with the clutch set real light. The vibration usually will loosen it up.

        Update:
        [IMG][/IMG]
After much work - it finally came out
However the new stock doesn't fit quite right - so a bit of sanding is in order.

There's a pin in front of the cutoff switch that holds the ejector in place.

Yes. On mine from the bottom the pin looks like a slotted screw, but it's a pin that slips in from the bottom. Is on the one I'm looking at right now anyway.

The ejector is mounted in the receiver left side wall with a pin that comes up from the bottom of the receiver. As TMB1 states, the pin looks like a slotted screw.

Here is a PDF for the 1903 see page 10. I like the WW2 manual better. I picked up a copy at a gun show. It has served me well.
