    Rifles with Integral Bayonets

Well, now that my dream of owning a centerfire and rimfire version of every mode of action has been realized, I've been wondering what direction to take my collection.

Looking through what I have, between the Rasheed and the M44, I realized I have a pair of rifles that have integral bayonets, and I thought it'd be neat to learn more and potentially take the collection in that direction.

So, aside from the SKS-series, the M44 and its derivatives, and of course the Rasheed, what other rifles out there had bayonets that were a permanent feature of their design?

A quick search on Google introduced me to the Czech vz. 52, but I'm wondering what other gems are out there that have this quirky feature.

First hit on google, with "Carcano Cavalry" as the search string. Very cool.

Doesn't the FG-42 have one as well?

I didn't think so, but yea, spot on! Simple folding spike bayonet, hidden by the bipod. Thanks!

Here are a few pics of the second or later model FG42 (Krieghoff) - although all FG42's had integral bayonets.
Of course the bayonet itself is missing on this example (sorry), but I have photographed the space where it went.

You'd depress a button - slip the bayonet out, turn it around - and reattach it.
The drawback of this method of course is that sometimes the bayonet got, well...
              ...Lost.

Clearly the whole thing was simply done to tick-off a box on criteria list of the Luftwaffe weapons commissioning body as the bayonet itself is useless as a thrusting weapon (too short), or bladed survival item or fighting knife.

              Where the bayonet goes:

Hmm, makes sense that it was just a "checklist item." Though I supposed I'm spoiled by the typical Soviet cruciform bayonet, which doubled as a screwdriver for their action screws.

The MAS 36, 40, 44 and Syrian Contract 49 had bayonets that were stored in the front of the stock.
