Ordering from CMP Question (Firearm Safety Certificate 2015?)

Do I need to take the new firearm safety certificate to order a rifle from CMP?

I currently have 03FFL and COE, and handgun safety permit, but do I also now need to recieve and copy the new firearms safety certificate with my order to CMP?

So 03FFL, COE, Passport, Club Membership card and safety certificate?

I'm almost certain that you will not need the FSC because you have 03FFL and COE.

Firearm Safety Certificate Program Links to Topics below General FAQs FSC Program DOJ Certified Instructor FAQs Firearms Dealers' FAQs Certified Instructor Training (Comparable Entity) FAQs General FAQs What are the Firearm Safety Certificate requirements? What are the exemptions from the Firearm Safety Certificate requirement? If I already have a Handgun Safety Certificate, do I still need a Firearm Safety Certificate?

A valid Hunting license is also an exemption for long guns only, so for people who have a hunting license and their HSC is still good for a year or more, they could wait to get a FSC until their HSC expires.

If it just stops one crime... all this liberal gun control will be so worth it!!

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

Damn had to get everything re-notarized. Has it really been 4 years since I got my first Garand? Time sure flies. It won't be received until Friday or staterday, so I hope I didn't just waste $20.

Now to figure out what I need to sell to make some space.

Tax return came in perfect time to receive this, but I REALLY didn't want to buy another rifle, especially not a duplicate. Still hard to bring myself to sell my HRA with collectors grade metal, or my Service grade with USGI stock and TE0, ME1. But something will have to give to make some space. Perhaps it's time to sell one of my K31s.

Post pics of your other Garands! I'm picking one up in the near future.
