    Stockton gun show

Very small. The usual jerky, some AR stuff, one ammo vendor, jewelry and a couple of guys with new handguns.
But one table with like 100 C&R rifles. Probably half were every Mauser you can imagine. Prices too high though. A decent RC BYF 42 for $750 no thanks. A nice 1917 for $750, not too bad. It was just fun to see so many Mausers in one place, Turkish, Yugo, Chzech, etc etc.
    I bought nothing.

Yeah, they usually have a good selection, but prices have gone up recently. I chose between that and the Yuba City show yesterday. I clearly made the right choice.

I am getting tired of all the jerky/coin/pain relief gadgets/jewelery people. It was unfortunately another small show.

I've bought from the Red Beard guy in the past; my 43 M44 came from him at the roseville gun show.

In the past his prices were usually right around what they should be. He starts high but does negotiate so there's that.

Yes but $750 for an RC with soso bore, what do I counter with? $350?
Yes he also had lots of Mosins, I didn't check prices on those.

I spoke with him at the Turlock show for a few minutes. He's an 08, can import. He was saying that the feds have import locked up pretty tight, unless you've got deep pockets and are connected.
