Just got my CMP M44

Just got my Mossberg tonight (next day air shipping!)
other than missing a front sight hood and the little red fire thingy
I dont think its ever been fired by looking at the bolt
the wood needs cleaning and has a few dings but other than that its in great shape for a 60 year old rifle
Barrel looks brand new no large scratches or dings and the bore is excellent
SN is T64003
its not D&T but I didnt intend to put a scope on it so I dont care

Are you sure that the serial number starts with the letter T and not the number 1 ?

When I got my CMP M44's a few years ago I don't think anybody was getting them with front sight hoods, but it seems like many of this new batch have them.

It looks like a "T" but ill check in better light later
the trigger guard is good but it has shrunk some
using a heatgun to reshape it
yes I have 2 mags
