She likes the EOTech by ChrisWakefield, on Flickr
She likes it! It's a BCM midlength 16" on a Spikes lower with Ergo grip, CTR stock, and EOTech XPS2.Leave a comment:

For it to be legal the pistol needs to be over 26" long which then makes it a title one gun (not a pistol or a rifle).
Franklin Armory is a California & Nevada quality based AR-15 manufacturer. We offer quality, reliable firearms for civilians, law enforcement, & military agencies
I have some other documents somewhere on my computer but I have to find them.
His pistol doesn't look to be 26" long though!

However if your AR "pistol" is 26" in length or greater it doesn't meet the definition of a handgun under Federal Law. It's still a pistol under CA law but the state of CA does not have any laws against a VFG on a pistol.

Franklin Armory has an ATF letter on the issue.
I have a 7.5" barrel on my AR Pistol so the OAL is too short to put a VFG onOh well it will make a stupid entertaining SBR someday (a man can dream!)
