    SKS only Pic thread.

Post your or just SKS pictures.

    Yugoslavian 59/66
Fit & finish is excellent especially for a mass produced military rifle and with the scope mounted it has very good balance to it.

This is the last one that I sold: The aftermarket fixed 10 rounder was later removed (didn't work well).

Nice blond furniture. My 59/66 is a little more reddish brown. Here's my beautiful babe(and my girlfriend).

          I'll play.

Here is my first rifle - a Chicom capture from Cambodia - brought home by my Father.

Yes, I still have capture documents and some of the original ammo my Dad brought home.

Interesting, but in 1970 when this was given to me, SKS's were pretty rare.

BTW - Might be better if this was in the Curio and Relic section????

No prob..... Yah, there's way too many RH muzzle breaks out there. Converting to LH is not worth it at all.
I believe there's several RH muzzle breaks on that website, just don't get flash suppressor one. And if you get 74 type break, make sure you get that spacer to align you break properly, you can even spot weld it if you chose to.

This is my last remaining Yugoslavian 59/66, and even this one I unsuccessfully attempted to sell not to long ago for a pretty low price IMHO. Good thing I did not and most likely never will.

In 03 I bought 6 of them and after selling them throughout the years I regret doing so but I guess that's with majority of people selling their guns.

That is a clean SKS you got there.

Bill: Why didn't you tell me?
                    Beatrix: I don't know, because I'm a bad person.

Did you drill, tap, and inlet your SKS yourself? Nice!

My buddy and I recently went shooting and he shot corrosive yugo ammo through his Mosin and figured he could just piss in the barrel and call it a day. Several days later the bolt was rusted shut but I guess the fouling wasnt TOO bad.
