Yeah I guess after Jan 1 a lot of these places are on back order. I'll just have to order and wait it out. Keep us updated after the shoot to know how it went.

14.5 .223 (pinned stock, but need to remove the forward grip)

        Saiga 7.62

Don't have a picture but also have a featureless PTR91. I have no clue of what to do with the MPX and I'm taking my two AR pistols on a fishing trip. I ****ing hate this state....

I think my favorite part of 2017 so far is having a real mag release

Sig Patrol 716 (.308). Pinned stock with retractable monopod, MIAD w/Exile Machine backfin, stainless muzzle brake from SOTA Arms, 10/20 riveted Magpul.

Do not try and bend the spoon, that's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth...there is no spoon.

Well maybe...that's yet to be ruled on...nice to see YOU think like that
                    Hope you're walking my local range..."that day"...LOL

But what I meant was...isn't he concerned about having it so close to the magwell?
Won't be able to tilt open to clear a malfunction...gonna have to remove the lower completely...real time consuming by comparison

Takes you completely out of a fight

Edit: must make cleaning a real BEOTCH too

Here's mine! I feel like I am one of the few people that like the Saiga in unconverted form. (not to say the AK is worse or better. It just feels like a different rifle)

Good point. Will have to test that functionality. I haven't even taken it to the range yet in this configuration. Thanks for pointing it out.

I had moved the AFG back because I thought I might like having my forefinger in front of it but behind the bipod. I'll have to adjust accordingly, or just remove it altogether.
It might be a moot point having it on there when I can just grip the bipod leg. I'll probably stick to using the standard 10rd mag if I find the bipod legs don't work (or try a different bipod that I have).

As for cleaning, I don't expect to need to do as much of that since this is a piston system.

I ran into the same conundrum with my wife
who wanted it located as you have done

Much as I LOVE AFGs...I put on a hand stop

I like your paint job. How did you do that? I also like the use of the blousing straps.
