If you do, I'd love to buy one off you. I've got a LUTH-AR that could use one of those, and while I could start from scratch, I'd prefer not to reinvent the wheel.

Going to the range on Wednesday to test it out and see where adjustments need to be made. I never used products to make molds but will give it a try. Will update you when I get close to a final products.

WASR with the Exile Machine Backfin. An unintended consequence for us lefties - it gets pretty tight between the thumb shelf and the side rail mount. I'm still ok with a bare hand, but I'll have to see if my hand still fits with a glove on. Still, the Backfin's thumb shelf makes a world of difference in added support compared to a grip wrap.

Top two are an OPAP and a 7.62x39 AR
Bottom two are 5.56 ARs. Going to put a muzzle brake instead of the thread protector on the top one. Did not have time to finish up.

Have a Hi Point 995 carbine to finish up now. Have the mag release, but need to make a fin.

Pieced together. The inserts are only a couple bucks and the butt pad is $14.99. So around or less than $20. Even cheaper if you just get the hard end plate instead of rubber butt pad.

So can I legally remove the bullet button and install a standard mag release given I can do this with my thumb? (and yes the stock is fixed. And no I would never shoot like this, it actually hurts.)
