    Ares SCR. Manufactures like this and Thorlo just got a good bump in sales! Word is, get the Monte Carlo stock if you're fixin' to use a scope. Pretty hard to argue that this isn't featureless, provided you don't have any verboten items on your upper.

    Thordsen is compliant but you cannot put a vertical foregrip on your rifle.

    So...I just built my first 6.8 ARP upper. I put my 6x scope on it and came to the conclusion that I'll be buying another scope for my ARs, so this can be dedicated to my bolt action. And I'll get a 1" cantilever mount instead of rings. It will look better. But I like the upper and can't wait to shoot it!

    Ares defense makes it. It's called the SCR. What they did was use a proprietary rat tail bolt carrier and a buffer that shoots down at an angle so it fits in a traditional stock.

    In the typical AR15 the buffer and spring are in the tube, where is it on this rifle? is it curved into the stock or something? I am missing it. Who makes this stock so I can go check it out?
