I'm afraid the day I build a featureless rifle and take it.to the range I'm going.to.get arrested by an uneducated cop

            I know...haha. I ordered another stock from http://www.thordsencustoms.com

And a photo below. This one is FDE color. Really good quality and Thordo ships right away. Good people.

Not anymore. ^^^^ those were part of the Federal Assault Weapons ban that expired in 2004.

            The 2nd Thordsen build

This is a Spikes Tactical build I just finished today. Exile Machine grip.

Love the ACE fixed stock. Rock solid.

It DOES. That tears it, I am building one in OD with an AB Arms hand guard. So, if I have a carbine upper like a standard PSA, all I need is to get rid of the bird cage and replace it with something like a Spike's comp +the Thordo stock correct? I'd be using the one with the buffer tube cover and QD mounts.

So i have been looking through this thread, and i see that featureless in simple terms is A2 or Fixed Stock, No pistol Grip, and a Muzzle Brake as opposed to a Flash Hider.

My question is for the Mags. I see a lot of you guys with Pmags, and i assume that they were not around pre-ban. Does anyone have a excerpt or something of the sort clarifying it?

I saw that if the mags were from pre-ban, and age doesnt have much to do with it, but from what i am reading i cant just go to the range with my featureless rifle, and 30rnd Pmag i bought before the 1st of this year.

                  thank you in advance!

yes. Or no brake at all

for instance, if you owned some 20 round magazines before 2000 and rebuilt them over time with p mag bodies, etc. that would have been perfectly legal.

if you owned a 30 round magazine and used P mag parts to rebuild/repair it, you can still use that particular magazine. But after January 1, 2014 you cannot import or buy rebuild kits. If you have rebuild parts kits that you bought last year before the new law, you can still use them. If you bought a 30 round P mag last year and it was an assembled magazine, you broke the law. If it was a parts kit, then you can still use those parts to rebuild your old pre 2000 magazines that needs parts to keep it working.

                    thank you in advance!
Keep in mind that there is no PC, Penal Code for arresting someone with a high cap mag. Barring you verbally self incriminating yourself, expect a police officer to confiscate your high cap magazine as a Nuisance. Which is new law.

                    But no arrest.

I own this is all anyone should say.
