Nice collection, and nice job. I see you flipped your ambi-safety lever on the last two rifles. Interesting, think I'll try that on the HH equipped rifles. How do you like it?

Thanks! The safeties are more useable this way considering the angle of the backfin and the limited space for natural motion of the thumb. With this setup, turning on safe is a push down with the thumb and fire is a push up with the thumb or using the index.

I really wish I could find more Gavel safeties to angle customization, but for $17 the Rousch Sports will do just fine.

Cheapy Build, Anderson lower with PSA Freedom mid-length A2 upper 16" bbl with FDE furniture: Magpul CTR with Magpul .70 extended buttpad and eBay $10 stock pin kit (I put the locking lever's pin back in to make it semi-permanent; totally cost effective, clean, and worth it), Magpul MIAD with Exile Machine grip fin, Rouche Sports A2 Foxhole $15 muzzle brake, Magpul M-Lok mid-length handguard with M-Lok AFG, Primary Arms 30mm red dot and cantilever mount, Sig Sauer ambi-charging handle, Magpul rear BUIS, and $17 Rouche Sports ambi-safety.

Ok, I spent the day converting and re-converting my rifles to featureless. Some of these rifles have made appearances in previous posts, but here is the collection. This is still not all of my tools. My apologies for the lack of classic Calguns "feet in the photo" tradition. lol

1. Sig Sauer 556 Classic 16" bbl: munkeeboi/FinGrip.com very high quality grip fin, MFI Swiss SANS height top rail with rear diopter, MFI Swiss SANS height front sight hood with fiber optic, and Rousch Sports A2 FoxHole $15 muzzle brake.




2. DSA (LMT made receiver) / Brazilian Imbel 21" bbl traditional FAL with ODG furniture: Purchased from a local member as featureless. I believe that the fin is also munkeeboi's from memory, but I am not for certain. The muzzle device is a DSA FAL SA58 muzzle brake.




3. Frankly I did not like the look of the Hera before, but your rifle wears it well. I might have to try one myself if the positive range reports start pouring in.

Looks nice, is it as heavy as it looks?

well it's a heavy rifle in general due to the hand guard. I feel it lighter compared to my previous configuration or an A2 sock and monster man grip.

Gonna bring her out to the firing line in burbank for the monthly meet if anyone wants check it out.

Featureless Rifles Picture Thread

Hmmmm, have to wonder if that wrap on the Sub2000 has a large enough fin. Still looks like you could wrap your thumb around it below the action. I wonder if you can make a larger fin that also wraps around the scope when folded.

Secondly, I look at the sharp edges around the webbing of your hand and wonder how long you can shoot before it begins to hurt. I had a sharp edge like that but on a larger calibre, which I eventually had to modify due to web bites.

All the edges have been sanded down and my thumb would rest on the right side. I can't wrap my thumb around below the action.

FYI the exhile hammerhead is much easier to handle if you stipple it.
