I've heard people here say this and I'm confused. I'm 21 and I was 11 on Jan 1st, 2000... Is there any way I could legally use regular capacity magazines other then hypothetically saying that they were given to me, or bought before that date? I'm just asking our of curiosity, I'm fine with staying legal and saving rebuilds for out of state use or the fall of western civilization . I know it would have to be on a featureless rifle btw.

Funny cause when I use my regular capacity magazines while I'm shooting, I never feel the need to say anything.

It's not illegal to possess or use large capacity magazines no matter when or how you acquired them. Possession and use are not prohibited.
