Well thought I would try one of the CQR stocks by Hera. Tried it on a few different uppers I have and thought it looked the best with this one. Gives an overall "DMR" look.

The CQR stock looks much better in person and feels reasonable comfortable to hold, shoulder and shoot. Before I installed it I fully dissembled it which was interesting as there is a fair amount of room inside the stock that could have been used for storage. But I guess the Germans that designed it did not think about having a need for storage.

Overall the build quality is good and reminds me of the fit and plastic quality on old school HK "products" ; I used in the past. It is NOT MagPul quality as the CQR is plastic not polymer and is bolted together not molded or sonic welded together.

        Have any disassembled pics?

I think many of us would benefit from
having the opportunity to see them...

Sorry did not cross my mind to take photos when I had it apart. Had not intended to even post the above photos but was persuaded to do so by another member.

If folks have ever built plastic "snap tight" type model cars, planes, tanks or ships then they will feel right at home with how the CQR goes together and looks internally.

It's in the prototype stage. I was lucky enough to get one. Check this thread:

to keep up-to-date for when it is available.

Thanks. Sorry I had my names mixed up. I was looking for that wierd grip, not the stock. Going back to the post I see that it is no longer available.

Yeah, sorry about that. People keep telling me they don't count for featureless. I think you have to try really hard to read it that way, but I'm not a lawyer.

Clearly the horizontal line of that grip (and the web of the hand) lies above the horizontal line of where the trigger exits from the lower receiver

Therefore it seems it must qualify for featureless

No one knows when the CDOJ will finally make up their (and our) mind on what is a feature and what is not! Hope they do it before 2/31/2017.

Maybe what you intended to post regarded AW regulations...but what features constitutes an AW has been clearly published for years...
