Noon question- how to post photos?

Hello my fellow freedom loving people.

I?m new to the fourm, but not to the hobby. I want to post a build but have no idea how to post photos?

Is there a secret to posting photos?

I assume that means noob question. Probably too late for this info to do much good but anyway.... I don't know how to do it on a mobile device but using a browser on a PC etc., if you don't have a URL you can reference, you first need to attach the image to your post:

1. Select Advanced below the textbox where you're creating a new post/thread.
2. Scroll down and select Manage Attachments.

From there a window should pop up and direct you to select a .jpg off your machine and upload it here. Mind you that there is size restriction, so your image might get shrunk during the process.

That'll only get it to appear as an attached file that each person must open on their own. Getting your image to appear in the thread is a little more involved.

Another way to do this is upload the photo to a hosting service that allows you to share them on forums. I use FLICKR. Flicker has a sharing feature. It lets you choose how to format the code which you will then copy and past into your post.

If your picture is already online you can simply type the prefix and suffix code for an image infront of and behind the images URL (web address) in your post.

That looks like this but without all the spaces. I put those in there so it would show up and not be read as code.
