Since today is the 40th anniversary of the Japanese Anime "Mobile Suit Gundam" and I love doing tie-ins with unrelated hobbies, I wanted to show off my first ever AR build based on the show.
I posted this one many years ago, but had it refinished recently due to the white Cerakote flaking and yellowing. It's now Duracoat white, which supposedly holds up better for white.
This rifle is based specifically on the RX-93 Nu Gundam, which is the main mech or "Mobile Suit" of the 4th Gundam story "Char's Counter Attack". I've added yellow accents since the first iteration. The "AE/Anaheim Electronics" engraving was done to mimick the logo of the mobile suit manufacturer in the show.

On another note, the KMR unfortunately has a pretty small ID clearance - I may switch out the Fatman brake for something smaller, say VG6 or Surefire brake.
