AK question

I was considering buying an AK47, specifically:

Because it's a side folder and the length will be less than 30 inches how do I go about making the stock permanently open? Does it have to come from the AF permanently opened or can the FFL weld it? Thanks in advance for you help.

don't know if Atlantic Firearms will fix the stock, u can email them....

Sorry the Krebs rifles are not legal in CA because they start as a SLR 107 rifle and are also marked as such.

Does it have a remarked SN ? If it is logged as Krebs AK103k from the MFG then it would be legal. Might be a issue if you get a over zealous DA though..

The Krebs Custom AK-103K retains the original Arsenal SLR markings on the receiver.
