      Rifle from PSA $700
      1000 rounds of .223 $300
      Reloading kit $250
      Reloading components $250

By the time you blow through that ammo you will have saved another $500 for glass.

Whats keeping you from building your perfect rifle? a little bit of reading, a couple tools, and you'll have your own custom rifle thats exactly what you want with better parts for the sticker price of branded rifles.

No paying for brand names no paying for people to put your gun together and no paying for parts you're going to swap out for more expensive stuff anyway.

This video lays it out why building your ar-15 is superior to buying complete rifles.

Slapping an upper onto a lower is not "building" an AR-15.

What part of "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED" do you illiterate pawns not understand!?

Just wanted to clear that up. In competitive circles long range means 800, 900, and 1000 yard shooting.

no problem click. some people just don't have the garage or willingness to build their own rifle, But if you have a basic understanding of common garage tools a little patience for reading or watching a how to video on youtube then you have all the necessary requirements for building ar-15s. stick with well known companies that produce high quality mil spec parts, you can even go with a completed upper receiver that has all the goodies you want! just grab a stripped lower and fill in the blanks with the parts you want.

Good luck! let me know if you have any questions I'd be happy to help.

You'd normally start by reading the stick at the top of the first page in this forum...ask the question when you're done.

Weapons optimized for 3-gun and "long range" shooting are normally just a bit different.
