    PTAC AR 10 Style Lower

I bought a PTAC lower in AR 10 style when PSA had them for $99.00. Got as far as fully assembling the lower with left over parts from previous builds and everything went fine - all pins, RRA trigger, safety, etc dropped in fine. I've read PSA lowers may have issues with certain DPMS uppers, does that apply to the PTAC also, or will anything "DPMS" style work with the PTAC?

I have read a bunch of places you need to use the PTAC upper for the best fit.

It's DPMS compatible cheap lowers just have iffy QC so they may or may not fit with every upper you can get your hands on. Buying an upper and lower at once as a combo set means that the odds are high someone test fitted them before they shipped it out.

Not positive but I believe psa has proprietary setup. Without doing research the safest bet would be stick with psa. Just deal with the 2 month shipping wait.

FYI, you may have issues with the RRA 2 stage trigger. Some material may need to be removed from the hammer for the bolt to rack smoothly. Discussion here: http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_2_38/25...In_A_PA10.html
