Trigger Question

After looking up a lot of drop-in triggers, I'm getting a little confused about the pull weight. Does a 4-pound pull weight mean it's harder to pull than a 3-pound? I don't have much experience with different trigger types so any help would be great.

Also, which do Law Enforcement/Military usually use, a heavier or lighter pull weight?

A 3 pound pull trigger will require less pressure to activate than a 4 pound pull. Competition triggers will have a lighter pull than a typical military trigger.
