PSL side rail

I need to have my PSL siderail milled down to fit my POSP scope. Its the TGI reciever so they were imported with oversized rails to fit the scope to the rifle.

Anyone know someone who could do this for me?

TWS dogleg is my last resort, id much rather the orignial scope.

Before you touch the rail, you can file the mount on the scope with a hand file. You can replace scopes easier than rifles and I will assume you are not going to be swapping many different optics onto the psl.

The amount of material needed to be removed isnt significant. It will also minimize any "play" by mating the scope to the rail.

Also keep in mind you will then want to parkerize the receiver again to protect the now bare rail metal after milling.

Thats a great point, i didnt think of that. This is the only scope ill use with this rifle, and id rather screw up a 30 scope mount vs a rifles rail.

Is yours a square back receiver? If so you may be surprised how accurate a coke can rim and a 2 1/8" hole saw are to the contour of a standard psl stock

They seem to pop up when im not looking for one, scarce when im looking story of my life haha. I love mine, just the side rail is my biggest problem.

Is your scope rail clamp just adjusted too tight?

Most have a little leeway on the adjustment. Now if you're trying to fit an AK scope to a PSL/SVD rail, that may require some filing.

I agree with the guys above- file the CHEAPEST part- in this case, the rail mount itself.
