Looking for a Lower Parts Kit

    Hi all,

Just picked up my lower receiver (Spikes SP15). What recommended lower parts kit do you recommend?

Thanks I was looking at either Daniel Defense or Spikes. Any specific lower parts kit I should look at?

I would stay away from Palmetto State armory kits. I bought 5 sets and 3 of them were incomplete. I was lucky I had spares for the missing parts.

I never had issues with dpms, or brownells kits.

                Any brand really.

I've owned, used or built with just about every common brand. All have run 100% for me in all my and friends AR's. (I blame the builder for the stellar performance )

So I'd reccomend spikes, PSA, DPMS, RRA, CMMG ect ect due to me having no issues from any of them that I've used. No matter what the kit it's a gamble if your going to get a smooth as flash or gringy trigger. So to point out one company wouldn't be fair, that's just how they work.

Cmmg or JP LPK without trigger and an ALG QMS! Oh and a set of JP yellow springs.

I've always had 100% success with Rock River Arms (RRA) parts kits..built quite a few guns with them and they run well. You can also pick up a kit with their reasonably priced 2-stage National Match trigger.

Lwrc is my choice for a few mine, it comes complete minus stock and pistol grip. Also comes with H2 buffer.

Fulton Armory as another choice, bought from them before, no issues.

A lot of the standard parts are all made by the same few manufacturing plants. Companies just give them their specs(if different than the norm), than the plant just makes it for them, or ship already available parts to them.

Which kits come with roll pins? Those I found are easier to punch.
