Are you sure they are not in all the way? It could be that they used long pins. I had a kit (from somewhere else) that came with long pins and I had to order a shorter set of tapered pins.

Positive, you can see that they are only in half way from the other side. Once I get home from the office I will post more pics. Anything else you want to see?

If it's not easily pulled out then it's possible they put the wrong diameter pins. Pins are cheap if you want to try a new pair. Easier and cheaper than returning it IMO.

Call or email akbuilder and let them fix it. Their customer service has always been excellent. The minute you f**k with it you own it.

I just got off the phone with Lonny from Ak-builder.com (Curtis wasn't in) and he told me to just give them a whack with a Brass punch until I get them in. Apologized for the inconvenience and was very polite. I will be grabbing a piece of wood and getting those pins in this weekend.
