    .223 Saigas still in stock?

Does anybody know who has the best deal on these, assuming they still have them in stock? I have an urge to pick one up, but I don't know if they can still be had for anything remotely reasonable.

I saw a long barreled version at stockton gun exchange for $700. I think it had a few mags inc. Not sure if its still available. Too far for you but another CGer might want it.

For nearly $1500. lol. Thanks, but I can still find them online for under $700 easily. I was looking to see if anybody had seen them lately in the $550-600 range or below. The best I have been able to track down was $591

Expect 600 to 800 buck if u can find one. only 50 left in the USA! I got mine for $572. ammo bro charged 150 additional for transfer! If I have known, then I would go somewhere else. Wanna buy my brand new saiga for $750. Just wait 10 day after DROS.

I found a company in Florida that has an adapter that permanently alters the gun to take AR magazines, and according to the reviews, works reliably. I would love to have an AK that I can use AR magazines with, as I have way more pre-ban AR magazines.

No permanent mods to the gun needed to run 5.56 PMAGs. Just a little modding of the mags themselves...bu then again, you can no longer readily use the PMAGs in an AR.

That is cool and all, but I want to be able to run AR magazines unmodified. I don't want any doubt that I did not "manufactured" a magazine. I only have a limited number of ore-ban magazines to play with. I don't want to risk those that I have by triggering something that a DA could view as a felony.

that's kinda cool but this adapter is better! requires no mods to the mags. just a tiny bit of material removed from the mag well and now both ak 223 mags and standard usgi mags work. made by canis design group

Maybe one day. but not anytime soon so long as they are sold out, and cost $90 dollars.

Personally? It's a cosmetics thing. I hate the shape of banana mags.
